The selectors have also named a strong Pakistan A squad, to be led by Hasan Raza, for the EuroAsia Trophy event, which will also be held in Abu Dhabi from 22 April to 5 May.

They will take on India A, Sri Lanka A and the national teams from Ireland, The Netherlands and the UAE.

Pakistan squad: Inzamam-ul-Haq (captain), Younis Khan, Mohammad Yousuf, Imran Farhat, Faisal Iqbal, Shoaib Malik, Shahid Afridi, Abdul Razzaq, Mohammad Asif, Kamran Akmal, Rao Iftikhar, Rana Naved, Danish Kaneria, Abdul Rahman.

Pakistan A squad: Hasan Raza (capt), Yasir Hameed, Taufeeq Umar, Mohammad Hafeez, Bazid Khan, Misbah-ul-Haq, Shahid Yousuf, Mansoor Amjad, Zulqarnain Haider (wkt), Tahir Khan, Umar Gul, Mohammad Irshad, Yasir Arafat, Samiullah Niazi.

yes i quite like the look of that team, however, isnt mohammad asif going to be more of a professional play n play more test for the international side??

Mohammad Asif has played 5 Test matches including a recent one against Sri Lanka last month so he still qualifies for the WAT A team. The Pakistan Test squad hasn't been selected yet for the tour to England. Asif will probably be selected in that squad.
