One to watch - Graham Wagg (Derbys)

Handy all-rounder, performing as well as he has since his ban and now bowling spin too.

He has certainly had a decent season again but i would say the brightest prospect at Derbyshire is Redfern who was impressive all summer for England under 19's and has scored runs since being put into the side after his international success.

If it was down to me i would be taking Redfern on the academy this winter as he needs to be given the chance for his obvious talent to develop.I think Wagg would have been picked for England 10 years ago as a decent bits and pieces player but they seem to want players who can be explosive in that role these days in the one day side and i think Wagg just comes up short there.

Redfearn does look promising, as does Jon Clare, unforunately for every Redfearn or Clare we get a Doshi or Rikki Clarke.

The one to watch is Clare who is only 22.
His first season in the CC, 555 runs at 42.69 and 31 wickets at 28.09. In a recent match against Northants 129* and 74/7.
