| WAT Australia A 2005 discusion thread That looks a strong team Beny, with quite a bit of international experience in there as well. Is the order you've given the 'Batting Order'? If so, Watson coming in at 4 seems a bit odd. I think it shows how strong the team is that I've heard a lot about 10 of the 11 players, and even seen about half of them. The only guy I don't know is 'Johnson' of Queensland. I'm wondering considering the current Aussie policy of 'resting' players for non-key matches whether many of these players - Jaques, Haddin, Watson and Tait ecspecially - will still be eligible next year! |

| Hussey has shown he can perform well for quite some time now, he's the best bet IMO.

Left Arm very fast bowler, although when I saw him in NZ he didd'nt clock over 140km/ph... So I'm wondering if it's all hype or if he was just bowling slow, or if the speedometer was off. In regards to the rotation comment... I think giving these guys a chance to get some experiance in the ODI match arena can only serve to ensure that the transition to test matches is eaiser. Remember, the eligability for WAT A team selection is based on test match appearances, not ODI appearances. Last edited by Beny : 02-02-2006 at 01:29 AM. |
