I'm very pleased to see that Robin Peterson is captain: I argued long and hard for his inclusion in the WAT 'A' Team, only to find him ousted by our illustrious chairman of selectors. I'm also pleased to see Tshabalala in the same squad... and hope to see him in the final XI alongside his captain as I also argued for him in the WAT 'A' side

Others who figured in that WAT 'A' thread also tour: JP Duminy, JJ van der Wath, Steyn, Zondeki, Albie Morkel and Morne van Wyk. Others who don't include Davey Jacobs, ARNO Jacobs, Stephen Cook, Kuhn, Mbhalati, Ontong, MJ Harris.

Any thoughts on the inclusions / omissions would be welcomed in this thread.

Inclusions: Boeta Dippenaar is an interesting one. I'd much rather have Arno Jacobs, Davy Jacobs or even Ahmed Amla...

Roger Telemachus: The old man is getting old. Reminds one a bit of Darren Gough; just when you think he's a goner he does a Lazarus on you...

Monde Zondeki: He is a bit of a surprise inclusion for me. He has NOT done anything to impress this season.

And actually neither has Tshabalala. Can't see how, with Peterson the captain, Thandi will get a game...

2 other inclusions I am happy with: Alfie Thomas and especially Vernon Philander. He played some very cricket to help the Cobras win the MTN Limited overs series this season.
