Looks like Loudon had a decent all round performance. And what was a saying about him not being good enough .

Why on earth is a body like the ECB referring to this four day A match as a "test", even with the inverted commas? Surely it makes a mockery of the real Tests to do this? It's an A international. Let's call it that.

And of his 5 wickets, two were captured with a Doorsa

If he can continue to use such a delivery, it would be great to see him in the same team as Panesar, especially in the sub-continent!!

Pass the salt then, my hats in the oven!

Its good to see that he's actually done something with his much hyped doosra.

The only negative I can see from this is that Fletcher may ditch Panesar to play Loudon se he can bat at 7 or 8.

Good to see us win but no disrespect but we should be beating Bangladesh reserves even away from home.

I agree I would prefer to see Louden playing with Panesar rather than "instead of".

However, with more and more Test pitches taking, the need for two spinners ill become key. We have consistently struggled in India, Pakistan and Sri Lanka, with one world class spinner (Panesar) and a spinning all-rounder (Louden) we could reverse that trend...

And of course our much-loved coach is going to do exactly that. That would **** me off so much.

Good to see the A team winning though, even if we should come to expect it. There are some talented players in the line-up who I would expect to step up to Test level in the coming years. Hopefully their brains won't rot with ODI's in the meantime.

Who do we expect to be in the team for the next game on Thursday? Will Rashid get a game? Who will drop out for Kirtley and Gidman?
