Bangladesh A v England A: Second 'A' Test, SCS, Bogra

At least one broadsheet carries news that Adil Rashid is playing ahead of Tom Smith... but the ECB website is carrying nothing whatsoever (depite the fact that play must, by now, be underway).

Nothing on cricinfo yet.

Broad stars for England A
Quote:
Broad, Graham Onions, who took 2-38, and Bresnan (2-13 from 10 overs) proved dangerous in helpful conditions for seam bowling but the home side staged something of a fightback with wicket-keeper Sahagir Hossain Pavel unbeaten on 30 and Enamul Haque 12 not out at the close.

For a bulletin on day 3 of the second 'Test' see the ECB's Compton leads the way
Quote:
Compton and Michael Carberry added 38 for the third wicket [...] Carberry had made 26 when he was trapped lbw by Nadif Chowdhury, but Compton then found another able partner in Prior and the pair embarked on a substantial partnership as Compton went past the half-century mark [...] The Compton-Prior combination produced 74 runs before Haque had Prior the caught in the deep.

Compton fell eight short of his hundred, bowled by Mehrab Hossain attempting a reverse sweep, after he and Steven Davies had added a further 56 [...] Mosharaf Hossain (2-59) then struck twice for the home side as Davies fell for 39 and Loudon was lbw before the close.
See scorecard

Good to see Compton in the runs again and playing for the situation and not himself.

What is intersting is that Bresnan has hardly conceded a run, playing in the ODI's last summer he looked like he couldnt hit the pitch!

Sadly, it would appear that for his second match in succession, Adil Rashid has made very little impact with the ball!
