Neil Saker

Potential early season candidate for this years A team - Neil Saker of Surrey

22 years old 6'4" took a five-for in his last game, has three wickets already against championship leaders Warwickshire, could be one to keep an eye on this season....

Just needs to work on his economy rate...

If he is the bright hope for Surrey and England we are in serious trouble.22 wickets in 11 matches @ 46.77 is not what i would consider a future England prospect to do.

You are right that his stats don't look great, but that was last season, he has now come back from a winter in Australia and is taking wickets.

Let's wait for a full season and see how he gets on before judging him..
