I think Rachael should comment with Ernest. That would be more exciting than the match itself .

Btw, who is going to be the host? RBLC should get the vote automatically, due to his name only.

Televised Matches

Here in Oz, we get the home one dayers, home tests, and a selection of State matches at the start of the year. Occasionally they might show Australia A play, but in my opinion, Free to air TV definetely should've got the Ashes.

Also, is it true that all English Games, home and away, will be broadcast on Pay TV from 2006 onwards

I agree with your post, well free to air here means the BBC, but as we have to pay the licence anyway, it is really free to air.

Who have you seen Australia A play?,and how often, comments on this please.

Yup, all the games will be on Pay TV. We never got away matches on free to air anyway or home one dayers. The only matches on free to air tv were the home test series.

What a waste of money the license is too. Other than Two Pints of Lager, I don't really watch anything on the BBC channels.

I don't either Pete but it would be nice to have some cricket like in OZ for our money!

England, India in 3 day cricket

Zimbabwe, WI, Sri Lanka in one dayers.....it is only ever against the touring nations....Once we had "Seth Efrica"'s "A" team here against Australia A, and we saw bugger all of it.

This is simply not true - Sky has rights to (and shows ball-by-ball) ALL the home matches of Australia, South Africa and the West Indies, as well as ALL England away matches. They have also, in the past, had rights to Indian and Pakistani home games.
