fifth and final odi

Sri Lanka won the toss and chose to bat in the fifth and final one-day international against Zimbabwe on Thursday.

Zimbabwe named an unchanged side for the match, while Sri Lanka brought back captain Marvan Atapattu, left-arm paceman Nuwan Zoysa and off-spinner Muttiah Muralitharan.

Wicketkeeper Kumar Sangakkara, who has a minor knee injury, fast bowler Dilhara Fernando and left-arm spinner Rangana Herath have been left out.

Sri Lanka lead the series 4-0.

Zimbabwe selected an inexperienced squad for the series after 15 players refused to play in a dispute with the country's cricket union.

Teams:

Zimbabwe: Stuart Matsikenyeri, Brendan Taylor, Mluleki Nkala, Dion Ebrahim, Tatenda Taibu (captain), Elon Chigumbura, Alester Maregwede, Prosper Utseya, Tawanda Mupariwa, Douglas Hondo, Tinsahe Panyangara. Sri Lanka: Saman Jayantha, Marvan Atapattu (captain), Mahela Jayawardene, Russel Arnold, Tillakaratne Dilshan, Thilina Kandamby, Upul Chandana, Farveez Maharoof, Nuwan Zoysa, Muttiah Muralitharan.

147/5 ! I'm a bit excited now.
And that is Taibu's first international wicket, and he is enjoying
it.
Into the rabbits now.

hi RMJ

again panyangara manages a wkt and though expensive - not bad considering. mupariwa too does well.

not at all impressed that taibu´s bowling (just keep wkt and show some faith)- but glad he got a couple.

nice to be 17 overs in without loss and at an acceptable run rate - go lads.

i know matsikenyeri has it in him (he must be suppoted, that´s all).

no spinner - which to me is a big disappointment.
