West Indies have plenty of problems with the continued poor form of Chanderpaul, Dwayne Smith's inability to knuckle down at crucial times, not to mention their ineffective bowling.
Hope that the Tigers can keep their second innings nerve. I agree, it has been a creditable performance for them, and will be a bummer for the WI as far as points in the top ten table goes.
As you can see from my earlier post I lost count of the dropped chances yesterday, although it was debatable whether a couple of them would have stuck under any circumstances. Still the Windies dropped about 5 when they last fielded.
Dear old Ridley, still there at the death having run out of partners once more. Where would Lara's record have been without him?

I just knew it, they suffered once again from second innings nerves, or vertigo as one commentator described it. When the Banglas really begin to understand that they have all the makings of a good side in every department; that they really can do it, they are going to be a good side to win against.

All to play for tomorrow???

Bangladesh really need to realize that there are two innings in a test match. After Day 4, they are in a losing position once again, making a complete mockery of their previous efforts. Losing three wickets to a part-time spinner like Sarwan is unacceptable. They are fortunate that the weather may yet enable them to escape with a draw, which was the likely result anyway, but they have thrown away the moral victory they looked like taking into the second test.

Chris Gayle in this test match has proved he has a better cricketing brain than sometimes seems to be the case.

Yeah. B'desh did the same thing in their first test against India. They scored 400 in the first innings and then succumbed in the second innings.

They need to learn to play for five days. It seems to be their next step. They did well in the first inning, but they can still lose the match ;(.

Well the Banglas recovered their composure. Perhaps a maiden declaration will serve to remind them that there are indeed two innings to be played in Test matches.

Gutsy performances in many areas just about outweighed the deficiencies in others. But what would the result have been if they hadn't spilled all those catches??

I'll be out in the Atlantic, helping with a yacht delivery to the Med, during the Jamaica test. Suppose I might be able to get the Beeb for some daily scores?

Have fun guys.
