I was wondering....

If the dispute between the rebels and the ZCU will be resolved (altho it looks unlikely;im hoping it does occur) will cricketers like Andy Blignaut and Sean Ervine terminate their contacts in Aus and return to Zimbabwe?Just a thought cuz they were among Zimbabwe's best.

Mate,

would severly doubt that.

In fact until their are major changes at the ZCU you will never see them Grant Flower, Heath Streak, Ray Price etc playing for Zimbabwe.

Well argybargy has alrady expressed his view. We're all white rhodiasians out to sabotage the black population of Zimbabwe.

Zim dispute

I don't think Andy Blignaut will prove that bigger loss for Zimbabwe. Most of the time he was expected to thrash the ball around and 90% of the time he failed.

Grant Flower has retired and is happy alongside his brother Andy in England. Ervine won't be coming back, he is applying for Australian citizenship. Trav Friend is a half chance of a return, but the Zimbabwean hopes rest upon the shoulders of Heath Streak and Stu Carlisle, as well as Wishart, Ray Price and Richie Simms.

But ZC's constant flip-flopping has been too much, although Streak still holds out a hope of returning. Also, I think young Tatenda Taibu has been disappointing, acting naive to the situation. Although he isn't the smartest bloke around, and after cricket there will most likely be little professional future for him, he should be taking a stand with other "senior" black players such as Stewart Matsikenyeri, Vuzimuzi Sibanda and Douggie Hondo. However, even in spite of Mugabe's "I hate whites" approach, blacks still seem to cop more punishment
