Rebels set for dramatic comeback?

Quote:
Cricinfo has learnt that four of Zimbabwe's rebels - Heath Streak, Stuart Carlisle, Ray Price and Trevor Gripper – are on the verge of making a dramatic comeback.
Cricinfo report here.

Exciting news for Zimbabwe fans, but I will believe it when it happens; all seems like so much hot air really!

Get 'em back in, and make a balanced Zim team. Add these boys to a team that includes Taibu, Chigumbura, Matsikenyeri and Masakadza and you'll get an XI that is truly representative of Zimbabwe's rising talent.

Streak ends his strike - cricinfo

Streak has apparently signed a contract and is set to return - great news for all those who bemaon the dearth of quality Test all-rounders! Cricinfo report (link):
Quote:
"I just need to finalise some aspects of my contract with Warwickshire county so that it ties in with my international commitments," said Streak. "Otherwise I am ready to play for Zimbabwe when selected. I am putting my weight fully behind the captain, Tatenda Taibu, and the rest of the lads."

Streak, who is 31 next month, took 234 wickets in 59 Tests for Zimbabwe before last year's falling-out.
