I don't think Streak alone is enough to make Zimbabwe a competetive international team again. They need the likes of Ervine and Ray Price back as they were the two beacons of light up to when the rebels went on strike and also G.Flower and Carlisle need to make a return because the current Zim team lack any sort of experienced batsman.

Because after all, Streak will only be able to bowl 10 overs out of 50 in ODI games and he can't bowl all day in test matches...he also needs something to bowl at, something which the current Zimbabwean batsman will probably be unable to provide.

You are right Chuck, he is only one man, but I think his inclussion in the team will be worth more than that, it will lift the team.
It does not mean they will start winning games here and now, but they should make a better fist of it.

The attack they came up against is no better than say, a West Indian bowling attack. They can win matches once Blignaut gets back.
