If only ZIM had Andy Flower & Godwin back

If only ZIM had Andy Flower & Godwin back after watching them play for the Lashing's Team play againt the South African ( Titans ) both of them can still play. score 198/2 of 35 , Flower on 73no and Godwin 98no against, Steyn, Kemp , Mebalati , Harris and co.

If only ZIM had them !!!!!

Too right Oracle - Andy Flower and Heath Streak are probably the only two truely world class players that Zimbabwe have ever had and even at 36/37, Andy Flower is still a class act. Trouble is that I don't think that Zimbabwe would want him back even if he was willing to return (which he isn't) after the protest by him and Olonga during the last world cup

Yeah, too much controversy in the air after that incident.

Too much controversy?????

Sorry vvv, a little stronger word....Olonga was facing treason charges for his stance and was kicked out of Takashinga, the all black players club in Harare. At the next World Cup, if these players were still around, Zimbabwe could've gone all out at WC 07. Having a middle order featuring Flower and Goodwin and G. Flower and Carlisle, with a couple of newcomers like Rogers and so on, with Wishart bolstering it. Add on Olonga and Streak, Blignaut, Ervine, Friend, Panyangara, Mupariwa, Rainsford and so on and there could be a show.....I'd back them to the Semis...You'd have an aged attack with the bat, but not quite a spent force...Rather the last roll of the dice...

Just woke up from my dream....Nah, we'll never get the big boys back....Sad part of Zimbabwean life.

Mugabe getting sacked is not a possibilit unfortunately, and him getting ill is not in our hands. All we can do is hope. For the best.

Politics is indeed a dirty buisness - the dirtiest of all buisnesses I know or can think of.
