| I was going to vote for Taibu, because he's got class. But he hasn't played up to his ability since being picked as captain. Then I was going to vote for Streak as he's a class apart. I then realised that he hadn't done many people many favours by going back to playing for Zimbabwe under the circumstances. So, I've decided to vote for Andy Flower. He's the greatest ever Zimbabwean cricker. His batting in the County Championship so far this season has been exemplory and he's putting some much younger cricketers to shame. He's also got decent morals which is unusual in this day and age. I then realised he wasn't on the list. Still, Paoli... Cast a vote for Andy 'Petals' Flower |

| Hang on Andy; I meant INTERNATIONAL cricketer. |

| Oh. I thought from the fact that you said: Quote:
Hmm. I don't think I can vote then. If I voted for Taibu or Streak I'd be voting on reputations alone; and I don't think their actual performances over the past 12 months warrant my vote. They are both capable of so much more than they have shown. |

| errrrr......this is so hard. |

| Yes, Ervine played in early 2004. His highlights include that 100 against India, and a few good games against Bangladesh. |

| Chigumbura is my man too, with a little more experience and some peace & calm in Zimbabwe he will surely turn out to be a real star. Chigumbura-Taibu-Ervine: they would make a pretty dashing trio! But I dont know if Ervine is back or will ever be...

| i generally think of test players fiirst and besides chigumburas 70+ against BD at home he´s pretty much misfired in tests. i don´t question streaks morals but won´t consider him for the season. i´m glad to see cremer on that list i thought he has come along in strides even in sessions - while in SA. taibu really wasn´t ready for captaincy. i was rooting for rogers at the start of 2004 but it comes down to ervine or carlisle for thier hundreds in aus after the treatment they got in eng. and i´m gona go for CARLISLE cos his was in a test. |
