Yes, Panyangara has a West Indian style action, and is quite a tall chap. Averages mid 30s in the ODI arena. Chigumbura, I liken his bowling to that of Dwayne Bravo's: similar actions, that is who Chigumbura should attempt to emulate with his bowling. A cavalier style batsman though, and like many Zimbabweans, his day doesn't come very often. Yet. Though, he has shown that he is able to cream top class bowling attacks.
Brian Murphy is the best test match spinner Zimbabwe have ever had, but I saw the series against South Africa (and bits) against New Zealand and yes, he went for heaps, but his wickettaking balls were genuine top draw leg breaks; that is the most promising thing, and that is what Zimbabwe should be attentive to. Focus on the positives rather than the negatives.
On the Ray Price thing, totally agree. I met him in Melbourne when they were playing an ODI. Very very humble gentleman. And yes, he did learn. I remember him saying he spoke alot to Greg Matthews and Stuey MacGill. It worked; he took 6-120 odd against Australia at Sydney. Possibly a 200+ wicket player for us if he'd have stuck around.
