I have great sympathy and fondness for the over-weight sportsmen of today's time, invariably most of them are very humble and modest chaps, Such traits are increasingly rare, but it is nevertheless a pleasant exception to most of the other the other image consious and self-obsessed sportmen.

It is good; that's why I was a fan of Darren Lehmann, the "old fashioned" cricketer...He wouldn't go on massive runs and all that, was known to have a cigarette in his mouth prior to his batting, and was known to have a beer or two.

Stone Bird, those two photos are from the same game...Although he may have had a nice braai at lunch!

Errr...that doesn't sound too inspiring , does it?

He was a healthy man though, still is as a matter of fact.

That was more what I meant, he is old fashioned and rare...
