By tomorrow...

it is imaginable that zimcricket could see a changing of the guard.

Parliament seats so far, of 210:
Zanu PF....78
MDC..........77
MDC (Mutambara)...5
IND.....1 - I'm assuming Moyo is taking tsholotsho - this last one's not official yet!

all this with 20 seats still up for grabs in Matebeland and 9 in Harare - both EXTREMELY unlikely to go to Zanu.
that should be enough to get an opposition majority in parliament (whatever that may mean) - even without the regular gains on zanu strongholds.

Tsvangirai is said to have won the presidential elections but i will leave that rumour-mongering aside for now - a majority in the house of assembly is a possibility, even for this fence-sitting cynic.

It seems a long time since Flower and Olonga made their protest. I wish Zimbabwe well in the light of the elections, and hope everything works out this week.
