I like this team. Can we include Hick instead of Whitall as he did play ICC representative matches for Zimbabwe but not one days. And I'd like to get Traicos in there as well (may be instead of Ervine).

Ok..ur side would be then

G. Flower, Goodwin, A. Flower (wk), Houghton, Hick, Johnson, Curran, Streak, Strang/Price, Traicos, Brandes.

I'm not keen on John Traicos. Hick, i never thought of that. He is a Zimbabwean (albeit not 100% proud of it), so yeh u can have him in urs...if i get enough interest he ll replace Whittall

I start to rethink my Hick decision. I mean, you wouldn't put Basil D'Oliveira in a South African Greatest XI. I guess the fact that he didnt play for Zim made me say that.

No from me.

Not quite the same. Hick did play for Zimbabwe, they just happened to have no test status and only played official one-dayers once every four years. He also scored quite a few runs when he did play.

Alright

However if their isn't enough support Whittall will be stuck with. However, if their is support, Hick will come in.
