Should the World unite and help Zimbabwe?

Should the World unite and help Zimbabwe?

Most of their key players are retired.

Firstly get all the past players, coaches and commenatators to come help Zimbabwe.

Sack the people from the ZCB and the players who are not commited to the team and the Country.

Try to urge Taibu, Wishard and Streak back.

And get help fast!!!!!

The first and third bits, yes. But, as the others have pointed out, you can't go into Zimbabwe and tell them what to do. So the bit about getting the players and coaches together needs to be done outside Zimbabwe. Zimbabwe cricket is going downhill fast, and will need to be rebuilt at some point. There's no getting round that fact. I'm sure there's a big role for other cricketing nations to take in the current Zimbabwe playing talent and coaching expertise, to maintain and develop it, so that those people can return to Zimbabwe when the situation allows.

A lot of the (if not all) speak good English so they could possibly form a team in one of the other test nations (Eng, Aus or SA probably) and at least play Assotiate countries as a Zimbabweans side. The ICC is more than happy to give out official accreditation to all sorts of daft games (Tsunami matches, super series etc) so there is no reason why these could not be official. The games could be found, its just that the Icc is too busy looking away to notice.
