Sorry mate, still no hope. Lara hasn't been making that much of a difference to his teams performance from what I've seen lately.

Lara scored 40 odd not out in the second game of the series and was looking quite fluent, he looked like he was returning to the Lara of old.

Although Lara's absence will mean the West Indian batting order loses its rock and we could see some collapses.

of course it was an extremely hopeful suggestion but that 40 n.o. carried them over the line in the first ODI...where, if they had got him out as quickly as they did in the second, it may really have put the cat amoung the pigeons...

I'll admit I haven't seen much of him since the NZ series but he was pretty ineffective here.

Chibbhaba looks quite good actually. And he's only 18.

I've not been following this series much- infact it's fair to say that I've lost alot of interest in Zimbabwean Cricket as the farce has continued. With that has gone my interest in cricket, which has declined dramatically!

Pommie Mbangwa has come out and said that we're playin' 'em 5 or 6 years too early. How stupid! Is there anyone else to play.

He also said he'd 'love' to see Andy Flower come back and play for Zimbabwe. What's this bloke on? Seriously, I thought a Zimbo would be more alert.

I think Zimbabwe should aim to play some associate countries before playing against the test playing nation. Couple of match against the associate countries would give more exposure to cricket. Like the match against Westindies look like lack of planning and lack of experience. I would suggest Zimbabwe should play around 20 to 30 matches against the associate countries like Ireland, Scotland, Holland, Canada, Kenya, Bermuda, etc and they should play against the test playing nations or they should play test.
