BD spinners making a mockery...

razak and haque jr. have had zimbabweans in all sorts of trouble for a few years now...it continues!

not that it matters - with the likes of chigumbura going through what must be his worst patch of cricket (in terms of results) ever. chibhabha not showing any of the fight he showed in WI and nkala being brought back from the wilderness to captain the side - but a follow up to the "Zimbabwe suffers further humiliation" may have been polite if only to mention that BD were skittled for less.

the zim batting is worse than any opera - a tagedy at absolutely every turn - every innings is worse.

and wiliams is the only person who seems to have bothered showing up - at least ireland showed some of what we know these guys are capable of with the ball but the "enthusiasm" (that's extremely loose) i had for the potential batting line up of duffin, matsikenyeri, masakadza, taylor, chibhabha, williams, chigumbura... has been all but drained . they do have ability - they've shown it in the past. who knows what they're going through!!

well the side they seem to be calling "zimbabweans" lost by a wkt in the end - but in fact i recognize more names in the BD "A" side than this particular zim side.

still no light on the batting front

i just read the final bulletin on this match saying "the close finish could not mask the humiliating...something or another" as i said - it really isn't quite as humiliating as suggested, this is a zim side that has little match practice (bar chigumbura, chibhabha and matsikenyeri - all who are hopelessly out of form), williams, the only other regular pick in the odi series, did fine and ireland who was in and out of the odi side this series did all that was asked, the rest i barely know. i wonder what (nore importatnly, how) the selectors think!!!
